About Us

With over 5 years of bartending/restaurant experience, Bernie has found a passion for taking care of the people who come to enjoy the atmosphere of the bar. Over the years, he's worked in Southington, Hartford, West Hartford and Glastonbury, working and managing bars. Picking up many skills along his journey, it was finally time to step out and start something new.

He created Afuera Mobile Bar in June of 2023, with a plan of bringing a level of service and hospitality to your event that hasn't been seen before on this scene. We are a full service bar that provides a vibe the neighborhood will be talking about for years to come.  With his enthusiasm and drive to satisfy his guests, every event feels like a Friday night out; stress free, full of fun and in the comfort of your own backyard.

Bernie is a TIPS certified bartender for the past 4 years in the Hartford/ Southington areas. He has his sales and use tax permit as well as a liquor license.
